SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT: Central Community College is excited to offer 2022 graduates a scholarship opportunity called, “Committed to Your Success” for students planning on enrolling in classes at CCC in the fall.

- Must be a 2022 graduate
- Tuition waiver may only be used by students who will enroll at Central Community College in the fall semester, 2022, and who seek a certificate, diploma, or degree.
- Tuition waivers may only be used to pay tuition for credit-bearing classes.
- Tuition waivers may NOT be used to pay fees, books, or room and board.

The Fort Kearney Conference Scholarship(s) will be awarded to graduating SEM High School Seniors who intend to further their education in college. This scholarship(s) will be awarded to students at the beginning of the second semester. The recipient is responsible for advising the SEM School Counselor of the college name, address, and date of enrollment along with a copy of their class schedule for the first semester.
The scholarship(s) criteria:
1. Participation in Fort Kearny Conference Activities. List includes: Choir, Band, Speech, One-Act, Quiz Bowl, Basketball, Volleyball, Wrestling, Track, and Golf
2. Achievement in the Fort Kearny Conference Activities.

April 14 - Beattie Family Farms Agriculture Scholarship
The Beattie family has established this Agricultural Scholarship in memory of Gerald and Army Beattie. They were the 3rd generation to farm and ranch west of the Sumner area. They spent their lives in agriculture production and as strong advocates of the industry. Both being World War II Veterans and college graduates, they worked hard to provide a legacy to pass on to future generations and part of that was their emphasis on further education. The Beattie Family still shares that belief five generations later.
Description: $500 Scholarship will be awarded to a graduate of Sumner-Eddyville-Miller High School who intends to further their education and career in the agriculture field.
Qualifications: This scholarship will be awarded based on academic achievement, leadership, school and community service. With an emphasis on agriculture achievement and service.
Instructions:
Please answer the following questions, submit a current resume which includes GPA and class rank to [email protected] by April 14, 2023.
Recipient must request scholarship payment in January the following year, including 1st semester grades and proof of registration for the 2nd semester to the address below.

- Applicant must be graduating senior from one of the 72 Nebraska High Schools selected to be part of the Scholarship Program.
- Applicant must have a "C" average to be eligible.
- Applicant must be able to demonstrate a financial need. Such as: have other members of the family in college that places a financial burden on parents/guardians/grandparents; study time vs. part time employment; having limited savings; and, needed in school clubs or other activities.
- Applicant need not enroll in a program leading to a Bachelor's Degree, but rather may wish to pursue a path leading to a Vocational Technical Certificate or an Associate Degree at one of the Community Colleges.
- The Haven and Virginia Smith scholarship must be used in the STATE OF NEBRASKA.
